of patients at the end-of-life in homes, long-term care facilities and
in-patient hospice units in Philadelphia area. Clinical placements also
possible at VITAS in Mount Laurel, Livingston and the New Jersey Shore.

Dr. Steve Dutton is chair of the Eastern Region Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Accreditation Committee. He is ACPE supervisor at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware and supports the VITAS ACPE supervisory candidate and program in Philadelphia. He is a Quake whose D. Min dissertation from Columbia Theological Seminary was "A Theological Anthropology of the Ministry of Pastoral Counseling."
Chaplain
Jacobus Greyling is the home team chaplain for team 652 in Philadelphia
and assists at the VITAS inpatient unit at Methodist at St. Agnes. Jacobus is approved for ministry in the Dutch Reformed Church
in South Africa and served as a minister in the Dutch Reformed Student
Congregration PUK Kandelaar in South Africa. Currently he is in the
ordination track in the PC (USA). After his congregational work he
finished his thesis on Pastoral Care in a Postmodern Society at the
University of Stellenbosch as part of his M. Th. in Clinical Pastorate.
He came to the United States to do CPE at the end of 1997 and worked
in the Department of Pastoral Care at the University of Pennsylvania
Hospital.
