Units generally meet weekly from 4 to 9 p.m. for 22 sessions. Individual supervision will take place semi-weekly throughout the unit. In addition, students will be required to complete 10 hours or more per week of clinical work with patients and families.

VITAS is accredited to offer Level I, Level II, and Supervisory CPE by the ACPE. Supervisory students will observe and/or supervise groups under the supervision of ACPE supervisor. Supervisory students will meet with local and regional supervisory education students for peer learning. The ACPE Supervisor for this location is Beverly Ross. Beverly is a graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School and an ordained minister with the United Church of Christ.
